January took me to the beautiful Dominican Republic for the first time. There I performed three shows for CHIN Radio- Toronto and all the Canadian radio listeners.
Also performing were Sarah Pacheco, Mary Lou Pacheco, Joe Pulga, Tony Camara and Nancy Costa. A special thank you to Dario Amaral and Antonio Cesar at CHIN for being so hospitable and making my job so easy. Of course having Tony Silva (TNT) controlling the sound it’s always a great thing. It was a pleasure working with all of you. I look forward to working again with you on July 1 & 2nd at the CNE Park celebrating CHIN Radio’s 41st Picnic.
The beginning of February I celebrated Valentine’s Day (weekend) in the New England area with America Travel. What a party!!!... The next day the show was in Peabody with Gomes Travel and America Travel. Gomes Travel celebrated 30 years of being in business and I would like to welcome all of their staff and friends to our cruising team. Now Gomes Travel has joined forces with America Travel and I with the intent to make our cruises even more successful....
My return trip to Australia in February was a huge success. This year I extended my tour with shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Wollongong. I then returned to Sydney for two performances. 
While in beautiful Sydney I took advantage of the gorgeous sights and filmed two music videos. “Nada se Compara Contigo” and “Um Pouco do Muito”.  I want to thank Zeca Mariano for his availability and for a job well done.
Thank you to all the Portuguese/Australian fans who purchased my music, supported my shows and made me the #1 selling Portuguese Artist 2006. I will be forever grateful for each and everyone one of you.
My heartfelt thanks goes to the Sydney Portuguese Radio Station, the tour management team, and the entourage that flew with me from city to city. Manuel, Grace, Joquim, Carina, Joe and Gil, you hung in there, made the late night shows and early morning flights not seem so bad. A special thank you to Ilidio and Merita Texeira for all you’ve done and continue to do for me. You make me see that all things are possible. I couldn’t have done this without you.
